Case study summary
A software company exhibits at overlapping trade shows, and its booth equipment often has to move straight from one venue to the next. With Juujbox’s trade show shipping, it gets palletizing, labels and paperwork, carrier booking, and someone to keep working the shipment after the team’s flight home.
The show had ended, and the team had a flight to catch. Their booth materials still needed to get to the next event.

For one software company, that meant labeling the equipment, leaving it with the event-services office, and relying on someone to coordinate the collection and onward delivery.
The company worked with Juujbox for trade show shipping, getting support for the preparation, paperwork, and carrier coordination that comes with moving equipment between venues.
That relationship began with a move between events and continued when the company needed another shipment collected across the country.
The equipment had its own event schedule
The company’s marketing team managed a busy calendar, with multiple events sometimes happening at the same time.
Its booth materials included backdrops, monitors, presentation equipment, and cases. Different events needed different selections, and materials leaving one show could be needed at another soon afterward.
The team had experienced the consequences of incomplete shipments. In earlier shipping arrangements, a backdrop had failed to arrive at an event. On another occasion, a monitor arrived without the power cable needed to use it.
Those experiences shaped what the team wanted from a shipping partner. The equipment needed to arrive with the supporting pieces, at the right destination, within the venue’s receiving requirements.
The work continued after each show, when materials had to be packed, released for collection, and sent onward.
Planning the move around the show
The company’s first shipment with Juujbox involved collecting display equipment after an event and preparing it for delivery to a convention center.
Juujbox worked through the item list, dimensions, weights, pickup arrangements, and receiving window. When the company added another substantial piece of equipment, the shipment plan and quote were updated.

The move included bringing the materials through the warehouse for palletizing, wrapping, and labeling before onward transport. Timing also mattered: collection and delivery had to fit the event schedule, including arrangements outside standard weekday hours.
The company provided the event details and onsite contacts. Juujbox coordinated the shipment around those requirements.
Getting selected materials to the next event
After that move, the company asked Juujbox to send a smaller selection of equipment directly from the convention center to another event.
The team supplied the items, collection window, destination, and delivery deadline. Juujbox arranged transportation and provided the shipping labels and bill of lading, the document accompanying the freight.
Collection required follow-up. The onsite team was preparing to leave, and there was uncertainty about the driver’s arrival and who would hand over the equipment.
The team attached the labels and left the materials with the event-services office before departing. Juujbox continued communicating with the freight partner and following up on the move.
The equipment reached the next destination ahead of the requested delivery deadline.
For the marketing team, the handoff extended beyond booking a truck. It included having someone continue working through the shipment after the people attending the show had left.
Handling another shipment across the country
The company later returned to Juujbox with another request: collect a kiosk and several boxes after an event and send them back to its existing warehouse.

This shipment brought a different preparation problem. The onsite team didn’t have a pallet available.
Juujbox arranged for the freight partner to collect the individual pieces and palletize them afterward. The company received instructions to label each item and provide the shipping paperwork to the driver.
During collection coordination, another issue surfaced: the materials appeared to be headed for a different carrier.
Juujbox relayed that information to the customer and asked the team to confirm the collecting carrier on the venue’s material-handling paperwork. The customer clarified the handoff with its onsite team, and the freight partner confirmed collection.
The shipment was subsequently delivered to its destination.
Passing a lower shipping cost back to the customer
Once the equipment had been palletized, its final dimensions were smaller than the estimate used to arrange the shipment.
Juujbox reviewed the revised cost and issued a refund for the difference.
It was a practical detail in the relationship: the shipment’s actual size changed, and the customer received the resulting adjustment.
Support for the work between events
Across these moves, Juujbox handled different combinations of preparation, labels, paperwork, carrier booking, and collection follow-up.
The software company continued to choose its event materials and provide the requirements for each move. Juujbox coordinated the shipping work behind those decisions.
The results were concrete: equipment moved between events, a subsequent shipment returned to the company’s warehouse, and a lower freight cost was passed back through a refund.
For a team managing overlapping events, that support gives the materials their own plan, and gives the marketing team someone to work with when a handoff needs attention.
